5205 Polyurea Ultra-Fast Drying Clear Primer/Sealer is a very fast drying clear Polyurea floor sealer designed for use over concrete floors. It is also well suited as the first thin coat over an epoxy flaked floor as it will allow the applicator to apply the second clear topcoat in 20-30 minutes, providing a higher build flooring topcoat with minimal downtime. This unique technology allows for more than an hour of pot life, yet the material dries in as little as 20 minutes when applied to the flooring surface.
When used as a clear concrete floor sealer, 5205 Polyurea has water clarity and mirror-like smoothness and gloss. 5205 Polyurea also has a lower viscosity that makes it very easy to apply while providing an even longer pot life and a faster cure when applied to the flooring surface. The crosslinking of the 5205 Polyurea series film in the cure makes it exceptionally tough and durable, maintaining its gloss far beyond that of comparable systems. The chemistry is based upon polyurea and much attention has been given to the application characteristics in its formulation. As a result, 5205 Polyurea is extremely user-friendly without having sacrificed the performance of the finished product. The applications for this product are almost limitless. 5205 Polyurea concrete floor sealer is suited for use over smooth decorative concrete, residential, commercial, and industrial floors.
A Concrete Floor Sealer with Long Pot Life and Great Intermediate Coat for High Build
5205 Polyurea Ultra-Fast Drying Clear Primer/Sealer has a pot life up to 60 minutes in real world conditions, yet it dries in 30 minutes or less after it is applied to concrete. 5205 Polyurea will provide an extremely wet look to the concrete floor surface due to its ability to dive deep into the concrete surface. Use 5205 Polyurea as a concrete flooring primer before applying the 5073 Polyaspartic clear topcoat when coating over plain or decorative concrete. When used with 5073 Polyaspartic a high–gloss, high-build floor finish can be accomplished within hours, not days. 5073 Polyaspartic is usually dry in two hours and can be walked on soon after that or driven on the next day. Also, both the 5205 Polyurea and the 5073 Polyaspartic are non-yellowing material so use over exterior surfaces will not be a problem.
Tough & Durable Floor Clear Coating
The crosslinking of the 5097 Ultra-High Solids Polyaspartic Clear Floor Coating series film in the cure makes it exceptionally tough and durable, making it four times more abrasion resistant than normal epoxy. The chemistry is based upon polyaspartic and much attention has been given to the application and installation attributes in its formulation. As a result, the 5097 Polyaspartic clear topcoat is extremely user friendly without having sacrificed the performance of the finished floor coating product. The applications for this product are almost limitless. 5097 Polyaspartic is suited for use on high-end residential flooring applications, retail floor settings with high traffic or food service floor areas where stain resistance and cleanability are paramount.
Six Colors Available
We offer six separate pigment packs that can be added to the 5205 Polyurea Ultra-Fast Drying Clear Primer/Sealer to achieve a fantastic solid color floor that is just as easy to apply while offering the same performance characteristics as the clear. This is our most popular 2k solventborne pigmented flooring topcoat. The long pot life and easy rollability make it very easy to apply on a large area without getting flash marks in the roller overlap areas. The chemical backbone of the 5205 Polyurea clear and pigmented floor coating is designed to be extremely scratch resistant while also having great chemical resistant properties. The scratch resistance built into the flooring topcoat will allow the 5205 Polyurea flooring to maintain its gloss for a longer period of time when compared to other concrete floor coating products.
