I was wondering what you tell your customers when they ask what should I use to clean the surface. I know in specs it says degreaser can cause faint spotting.(I know that is full saturation) but Wondering if there is a cleaner that works best.

I tell my residential customers to use warm water if anything has dried and stuck to the coating. Otherwise a fine haired broom/dust mop/leaf blower will remove dirt and dust, while a rag can wipe most chemicals off while still wet.
Since I like to put the products I sell through a barrage of destructive practices on a sample slab I can tell you a list of things that didn't hurt the 5073(at 10mils):
simple green
pledge
pinesol
murphy's oil soap
armorall
industrial purple shot at 2500psi from a pressure washer
also,
transmission fluid, welding slag, animal waste, sun in Bakersfield, steel table legs with no feet, fork lifts and dried concrete(applied wet) didn't harm or gouge my sample pad.

For my commercial customers(night clubs, kitchens), I recommend using the pH neutral cleaner that comes in their mop closet chemical setup. It cleans well and won't pit or de-gloss the surface.

Has anyone found a problem with using a "Swiffer" with wet moping cloths? They contain NO phosphates. We have been using this in our Show Booth regularly and have found it does a nice job of picking up the dust and dirt of heavy traffic. I've not seen any sign of spotting. I would imagine it could soak up oil and grease stains fairly well if they're not left to sit for months. If anyone knows of a reason not to use them, please let me know as I'll stop recommending (and using) them.

Hi,

We tell our customers to use hot water with simple dish soap mixed in to clean the floor of grease spots. We also recommend simply hosing it down with water and squeegee it out for basic cleaning, ie. for dirt and dust. We have not had any complaints about the floor not cleaning up, or for discoloration.

Thanks,
Tim

Best to use our V-100 degreaser @ 5 to 1. Dilute with water and if possible use hot water. All degreasers work much better when diluted with hot, rather than cold water. V-100 is also a neutral PH cleaner.

Erica i got the lead and in the process of bidding the garage. I scheduled some time to look at it this week and you will be hearing from me. My other floor was really easy to put down and it turned out amazing.
